If you would like to join us we have a few vacancies left.

All the pitches are hardstanding with individual water, waste, TV point and 16 amp electrics. Their amenities block is excellent and spotless.

We have a social in a spacious village hall on Saturday night and the lovely seaside town of Lytham St. Anne’s is nearby.

Ralliers can book extra nights after the rally at a special rate to extend their trip too.

I have now made available the usual list of GPS coordinates and What 3 Words addresses as a downloadable PDF file. This is ideal for printing, or downloading to a tablet or smartphone, to enable you to enter rally locations into your SatNav. See under the RALLY INFO / UK Rally Locations menu. On that webpage you will also find a map displaying the locations of all 2023 rallies.

I have recently been informed that long-standing member Mavis Baren from Wakefield, who rallied with her husband David for many years, sadly passed away recently. Mavis and David joined the SOC back in 1973 and were regular ralliers until they retired from caravanning and became Honorary Life Members several years ago.

Having been a member for almost 50 years, Mavis will be greatly missed by the many SOC friends she will have made during that time.

Our thoughts are with David and family at this sad time.

The important updates to the website were completed on 1^st January and I am now working through other web pages to bring them up to date for 2023.

The 2023 Rally Book is now available online for viewing/downloading and the Online Members’ Rally Programme, complete with rally site coordinates in various formats, is also available.

As the Rally Book is only published once a year, any changes to rally information will be published in the Latest Rally News and the rally will be highlighted in the Online Members’ Rally Programme in RED. Please note that to enable you to watch out for any changes, the ‘Latest Rally News’ section on this home page has a quick link where you can see all the Rally Numbers that have at least one entry in the ‘Latest Rally News’.

New Area 2 Rally in February : Yorvik Viking Festival – 16th -19th February 2023 ( 3 Nights )

Nurseries Caravan Park, Askham Bryan, York  ( 20 van limit )

Another chance to visit York and all its attractions during the Yorvik Viking Festival. Vikings take to the streets of York and the River Ouse with all kinds fun and many attractions to view and engage in. We return to our favoured site in Askham Bryan where we have 16 amp EHU on hard standing pitches with easy access into York . We have the use of the local village hall for our social, raffle and flag on the Saturday night

Rally opens 12 noon Thursday 16th February  Cost  £21 per night incl EHU ( there may be a slight increase imposed by site for electric )

Social / Hire of Hall £5.00
