The Swift Owners Club undertakes to collate and use your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest as a Caravan/Motorhome Members’ Club. Your data is required for the administration of your membership, the communication of information and the organisation of events.
The data collected from you will be recorded in our membership database which is stored on the Membership Officer's computer in compliance with the GDPR.
This information will be used in a variety of ways: -
- To record your membership with the Swift Owners’ Club.
- Provide information to your Area Committee Member (ACM) and Executive Committee Members for administration purposes only.
- To share basic data with fellow members involved in the Club’s events (booking rallies, attendance lists etc.).
The Club will endeavour to ensure your data is processed lawfully, fairly and in an open and transparent manner. It will also ensure appropriate security measures available to the Club are in place using the appropriate technical or organisational measures (e.g. restriction of access).
Your personal data is not passed on by the Club for use by any third party.
All data is stored in strict compliance with GDPR legislation at all times. The Club will regularly review the information it holds, consider the information it holds and for the purpose it holds it, securely delete information that is no longer required, update, archive and securely delete all information as it becomes out of date.
The Club will only keep and maintain data about an individual for as long as necessary to provide the service for which you are a member. At termination of membership by agreement all data will be removed from all devices as per GDPR legislation.

Policy Review
This Privacy Policy will be reviewed on an annual basis and members should read and refresh their rights at regular intervals as all amendments to this policy and any notices will be published on the website with prior notice being given to all members via the Club’s publications.
